sinclair's Review
Duces Wild has not been reviewed in a year, so I went to see if it was still open. I arrived at 16:00 on a Saturday. Parking is behind the building, and the entrance is in the rear of the building as well. There was no cover charge. As you enter, the bar is on the left and a square island stage is in the middle of the room. The stage did not have a true stripper pole, but there were two ceiling support poles in two of the square stage’s corners. There is a tipping counter surrounding the stage. The counter prevents patrons from getting within four feet of the dancers. There are four pool tables and one foosball table amongst the high top tables throughout the room.
A glass of Coke with ice was $2. A 12 ounce bottle of Budweiser was $4. A 25 ounce tall can of Budweiser was $5. Draft beer is also available by the pitcher or the glass. Duces Wild has a kitchen called Graffiti Rosa, which has a variety of food available. A one-third pound cheeseburger with fries is $10. A quarter pound hot dog with fries is $7. Graffiti Rosa also makes a variety of paninis, salads, and pastas.
Duces Wild is a topless club, but the dancers must wear pasties. There are no private dances available because the establishment serves alcohol. This is Mormonville after all. The strip club has a unique format. Every hour there will be two dancers working. Dancer 1 will dance for fifteen minutes, followed by Dancer 2 for fifteen minutes. Dancer 1 will then come back to the stage for a second fifteen minute set, and Dancer 2 will finish out the hour with a second fifteen minute set. The next hour Dancer 2 and Dancer 3 will alternate sets, and during the third hour Dancer 3 and Dancer 4 will alternate sets. This pattern continues throughout the day. During a typical day, a dancer will work only two hours, of which one hour is actual time spent performing on stage. Occasionally, a dancer will come in later in the day to work another two hour shift. The dancer schedule for the week is written on a whiteboard on the back wall. If there is a particular stripper you like, you will be able to peer at the back wall and know the day and time she will be working next. Dancers choose their music off of a TouchTunes jukebox. You can get an entertainer to dance to a song of your choosing if you pay $10 at the bar. Dancers will have a drink and socialize with customers when they are not performing on stage.
