New Normal?
So, I decided to stop in to see how things are now. The first thing I noticed is how empty the place was. Only 3-4 customers & 3 girls. The girls were typical of Mannheim Rd, cute but no 10's. I sat at the bar for a bit & had a beer. The few dancers there were did not seem at all happy or enthusiastic. They all just seemed to be going through the motions.
There was one, I believe her name was Lily, who approached me with a smile. She was pretty cute, on the petite size. We chatted for a bit, she made it VERY clear she did not want any contact, not even a touch on the shoulder when I invited her for a drink (that should have been a sign). She suggested a dance. I asked how that would work with the distancing she was adhering to. She assured me it would be different & more personal as long as masks wetre worn (I'm ok with that).
We went to the dance area, for those of you that haven't been there, its in a corner hidden from the rest of the bar behind the video slots they have there. She collected her money up front. The song began & she started to dance for me from 6 feet away. I asked if she could come closer, she said I'd have to buy more dances to find out. At that point I decided to cut my losses. I finished my beer & left.
