Disappointment Deluxe
I went back to one of my favorite clubs for a post-COVID visit and I wish I hadn't. The Bare has opened with no fanfare and it's a shadow of its former self. There's no valet parking. You pay the valet guy $5 but park it yourself. They charge twenty bucks to go in. They have someone there to take your temperature but the guy got distracted and forgot to take mine. He did have me sign this silly form absolving them if I get ill and die there and he made sure I had my mask.
About eight girls were circulating when I walked in wearing cute, revealing outfits but not nude. They all had masks on but some would flash their faces at you and one of two flashed their tits. As someone else mentioned, many tables and chairs have been removed so the remaining ones can be spaced out farther. Dancers circulated pushing food and drink and they'd sit and talk, trying to sell private dances. The first three I talked to were very vague about how hot or nude these dances would be and then a fourth one told me they would not be very hot or nude. None of the ladies there appealed to me so much that I was interested in taking them up on it but I took the fourth one back just to thank her for her honesty and we did one $51 dance that was indeed not very hot or very nude.
I ate a hamburger that was not as good as the one I could have gotten at the Jack-in-the-Box across the street and put up with one of the assistant managers telling me how Donald Trump was going to crush Joe Biden in the debate and the election. All the time, I'm thinking, "Are you trying to get me to leave?"
