One Great Night In Texas! (Post Covid)
Finally returned to Texas and The Lodge, my fave club so far in Dallas. I've only been to Baby Dolls and Buck Wilds nude so I don't have a lot of Dallas experience but here goes. My hotel just happened to be 5 minutes from strip club and honky tonk row. What luck. On Sat stopped in a Buck Wilds Nude club and stayed for 10 minutes, blah. Sunday night I stopped in for a beer and some pool at a newer Honky Tonk, Longhorn Icehouse, which just happened to share a parking lot with The Lodge. Perfect! After a bit of pool I strolled over to the Lodge, $20 at the door, and waltzed in. Deadsville. But whatever, I've learned sometime patience is a virtue. Maybe there are girls in the back?
So I go to the back and am looking for the restroom. Up walks a smokin hot blonde and she points me in the right direction. I make a mental note to find her later and walk in. The bathroom troll tells me man there's not a lot of girls here tonight. I say, bro, I only need one good one. He agrees.
A few words about the club itself before I go on. It is a very comfy club with super high ceilings decorated in a hunting lodge motif. Large leather chairs and benches. The middle room is in a library motif. The back room is a more private setting very dark and costs $200 to get dances in. There is an upper VIP room i did not check out. The only gripes I have is the main stage does not have a pole so the girls have to roll around on the floor or just dance around a bit. Not sure why they don't have a pole, they need one. Also you can only take out $200 from the ATM. Other than that the staff is friendly, the food is good, there is a really nice bar to hang out at, and they don't play gansta rap, just R and B, house, and some classic songs so kudos the the DJ.
