First time at Fantasies; Definitely would return..

It had been about 18 months since my last sampling of the Baltimore-area clubs, and wanting to try something new, I decided to check out Fantasies.

I arrived at about 8:45pm on a Monday. For those who have not been here before, I will say please do not be misled by the "ordinary" or "unremarkable" appearance of the building from the outside. As I entered, I had to pay a small cover (I think $5) and was also advised that I would be required to buy at least two drinks and/or food items as a condition of entry. The drink and food prices being reasonable - and my also being very impressed with the interior of the club - I was okay with this.

The entire interior looks very newly-renovated. There are multiple large screen TV's, what appeared to be a nice couch-VIP areas off to the side, a couple of pool tables, and an extremely large rectangular bar area in the center of the club, which also serves as the main stage. For some reason I was somewhat reminded of the huge table in the middle of the "War Room" from the 1964 movie Dr. Strangelove, except that this one was rectangular and was a bar, surrounded by strippers walking or dancing around on the bar level, with the customers seated below. The DJ and his equipment sits up in an elevated perch off to the side of the VIP, overlooking the bar. The overall design is very nicely done with lots of space to spread out.
