Was it COVID? Or the day shift?

Had a few hours to burn on my last trip to Dallas. Decided to stop by BDs since they were open again. Not much has changed inside. Drinks are still regular priced meaning they are a bit more expensive than a normal restaurant but cover is still only a few bucks so no harm there.

Sat at the bar ordered a bourbon and wanted to just take it all in for a minute to see what was going on. A few months ago the place would have been packed even though it was just about lunch time. Not today. There were quite a few patrons there just not that many girls. There were 4 girls on stage at a time, a group of 4 or 5 huddled in the corner talking to each other and a few walking around talking with guys. Maybe 15 total where there used to be 30 plus.

Most were pretty good looking but not to the standard there once was. The majority of the girls working used to be knockouts with some above average mixed in. Maybe all the really good looking girls are only working nights now. It was just strange.
