Hush, Indeed.
After getting a good fill of drinks from Diamond Dolls over in Clearwater, it was going towards 9PM and I was starting to get hungry. I was still accompanied by shanny72 and he suggested that we check out Hush. I think I’ve heard of that club less than a handful of times, but I didn’t care where we went so as long as I could get some grub in me. I never saw the reviews of this place, but doing a quick skim of the listing, their last review was September of last year. I suppose a recent update could be appreciated.
Maybe it was because it was rainy and already dark, but I almost drove past this club on the highway because the club completely blended with the other buildings it shared a small shopping lot with. Nothing too flashy on the exterior that made it scream “strip club smack dab in the middle of the highway”. The actual parking lot is a bit tight up front because a car or two were parked right beside the club, but there’s extra parking on the side of the building for more wiggle room. A security guy stood outside and waved us on inside as we walked forward. No parking fee, no valet, no patdown or bag check, etc. Just have your mask on upon entry.
I almost forgot how painful some of the Tampa clubs’ cover charges are, because going in, the door girl greeted us and asked for $20 cover per person (and the listing says $10. Ouch.). After paying, she gives us two blue tickets that apparently take $15 off the cost of the drinks and meal. Whether they do this with everyone that comes in or not is beyond me, but it’s a nice gesture.
