faux platinum but good enough
As many have mentioned, prior to entering you get your temperature checked and a pat down. Cover is $5 and you do have to pay for reentry even if you step out for a quick smoke or call. There are signs posted for wearing masks on most of the walls and for the most part dancers and wait staff were in compliance. As you walk in the bar is on your left and although it was fairly well stocked, could use some work on decor. There is a tiny stage opposite the bar which i did not see get used while there (possibly because it is the middle of the week) but that entire area looks quite really cramped. The place was sparse when i arrived at 1PM so much that the VIP cords were still on the floor. This place was anything but Platinum on this visit, but it is in the middle of the week. The lightening definitely favors the staff, but there arent as many cameras as Follies. TheVIP room is a tiny cell and I was quoted a ridiculous $200 for 30 minutes.. with a laundry list of NOs.... Pass! Songs were reasonable length ... lots of 90 and early 2000s Jay-Z joints dotted with some new stuff so something for everyone... spent about 3 hours then left ..nothing to write home about compared with Follies.. but given the current "pandemish" and the news that Follies may be gone forever .. it will have do do
