The Hunting Man’s Club

I was tuned into this place by a couple of the all dancers in another club. It was a Tuesday afternoon - pre pandemic.

First - I have to say that driving there for the first time is seriously awkward. You have to drive up a mountainous, twirling driveway of pebbles and dirt. Then you park in a dirt lot and walk over to the main door of the wood paneled place.

Inside - I was seriously not dressed right. This is like a huntin man’s place - like the Brawny man that hunts with his bare hands or somethin. It’s the kinda place that you walk in and everyone turns to look at you like you don’t belong. There was next to no diversity there - which is fine but it was mostly 50-60 year old white men who looked like bearded hunters that you didn’t want to mess with. So bein a newbie and getting “the look” as I walked in was a little awkward.
