Weirdest COVID Restriction Yet

I stopped in on a Sunday a couple weeks ago after I noticed their website no longer showed they were closed. Unfortunately, COVID caution still runs a little too high for my taste at this place.

I expect to get my temperature taken and to wear a mask inside, at least on the Illinois side of the border. But Atlantis had the weirdest COVID restriction of all: They make you wear disposable latex gloves for the private dances. It was like a heavy-duty condom for your hands -- I couldn't feel a thing. It was unfortunate, because Atlantis had a lot of really good-looking women that night and I was looking forward to taking several of them back for dances. (Side note: Based on years' worth of past visits, not surprising that Atlantis would have the best-looking dancers.) I stopped at one song with the one girl I brought back, which is highly unusual for me.

I left shortly thereafter as I could see that I was not going to enjoy any time with any of the ladies. While I was there I saw upwards of 10 women, but there might have been more working who never came out of their hiding place during my short stay.
