Evening visit after latest "shutdown"

I was driving on the west side of Detroit after the Governor's latest "shutdown" order for indoor bars, etc., but every place I drove by seemed open/full (Criket, Flight Club). I was in the mood for something different, so I my way to the Landing Strip for my first evening visit, and it was open also. I gave my key to the valet (no ticket, which was suspicious, but he said he would remember my face - I kept an eye on him till he parked - valet cost was $7, which I paid at the end plus tip). The parking lot seemed >70% full when I arrived around 9 pm, but I was told it wasn't too full yet.

Upstairs, there was a thermometer check (I don't think their thermometer is working, given the absurdly low reading he showed me) and I paid a $15 cover and was seated at a table right by the entrance and near the stage. Two ladies were already on stage (in bikinis). In total, there were probably around 15 ladies, 6-9s, mostly white, but a couple others as well. I got my drink ($10 including tip) and started tipping some of the ladies I was interested in getting to know a little better (some quite generously). Unluckily for me, almost all of them were tied up with regulars during the 1.5-2 hours I was there. One young lady did sit with me for a bit, but she wasn't able to convince me to go for dances in the basement, and no one else came by. Quite a few people came through after I did, and I'd say most of the booths were full, but most of the tables were still empty by the time I left. The bar area was pretty full. As for COVID, dancers all wore masks on stage, but most did not while seated. Only a couple patrons kept them on.

All in all, I had a nice time, but might have been better off at one of the other clubs given the dancer proclivity to stick with regulars here. I headed back down, the valet did remember me, and I was off into the night.
