A Weird Club but it Continues to Improve..
I have reviewed this club a couple of times now. This club is located 8 miles outside of Chico on highway 99. Be careful driving there as it is a busy 2 lane road that has had more than a couple head on accidents. When you pull off to the club, you will find the club is in the building on the left (the other building holds a lawn ornament store). The club is only open in the evenings----specifically, 7:30. They are closed Tuesday nights.
You enter the adult/novelty/magazine store and pay at the counter. The club is through a door on the left. There is no bartender. If you want a beverage, you have to buy it from a vending machine. If you want a snack, your only choices are chips or a candy bar.
As you walk past a couple of vending machines, to your left you will find a rather large fireplace (that is never used) with a pool table in front of it. The pool table is surprisingly busy. Continue walking and you find the main seating area, fairly large, with some of the most uncomfortable metal chairs of a 90's vintage. There are benches on the sides of the room---also uncomfortable. The place has a woody, western theme that certainly could use an update.
The stage itself has 2 poles. The sound system is decent.
This club continues to improve. The dancers are mostly in their early 20's but are very attractive. The past few times I have been there, they have been quite beautiful. The talent is improving.
If you want a dance, you ask the dancer after she has done her nude, two song set. She will point and have you sit at the "Group W" bench, where you wait, sitting there, until the dancer comes out and takes you to the VIP area. In the past, most of the dancers didn't mingle with the customers. They would wait until they danced and then the customer would ask them when they had completed the dance. However, lately the dancers have started to mingle a bit more---actually sitting down with you and chatting before asking for a dance.
The music is mostly techno dance/rap stuff chosen by the dancers who are mostly younger. The music does improve when the DJ chooses the music.
The VIP area is fairly private and the bouncer has been less gung ho about patrolling the VIP area. In the past, the bouncer has acted like it was his Eagle Scout job to make sure the VIP section doesn't get out of hand with the lap dancing fun. This club is not a "hands on" club---but the dancers do provide plenty of intimate one-way contact. All of the dancers have been very attractive the past couple times I have attended in the last month or two.
Sunday night is the best night to go---as the dances are only $10 with a VIP wrist band (which costs $32). Some have scoffed at the steep admission price. This place has been struggling to stay open, but the talent is improving and the dancers seem to be having a good time. They make an effort to entice return business. Based on the increased crowds over the last month or two, that strategy seems to be working. The club, while still weird, is improving.
