Not what it used to be, but they are trying

This was my first post- Covid visit to a club. I really was just driving by and decided to stop since it was actually open (most clubs in North Carolina are not). The parking lot still stinks, lots of holes. You walk into an entrance area where at night you pay a cover. No cover currently. You then enter the main club which has a main stage to the right, a bar straight ahead to the back, and mostly floor seating everywhere else. There is also an upstairs which has a VIP area which are sofas and a non private area which is called the Executive area. Both have cameras which may or may not be working.

On Saturday afternoon the club was empty. 3 customers, a bar tender an 2 dancers. One dancer is with a customer and the other dancer is on stage with no one watching. I recognize them both as dancers who have been there for a few years. They are both AA, one is probably a 6 and the other an 8. I go get a drink, I think it was 8.75 for a Gin and Tonic. The bartender is very cute, but not the friendliest, at least to me. She also dances on occasion, but not today.

I then say hello to the dancer on stage and she immediately asks if she can join me. She tells me that it is her first day back and the manager begged her to come it. Told me that they have had some days of lots of customers and no dancers. She also said that they were allowed to open because they have a kitchen and are acting as a restaurant.

I did not see anyone order food, but there was a cook in the back. She said that today was dead, but she needs the money. I asked about dances. She told me that prices are still the same, $10 on the main floor, $30 in VIP and $150 minimum ($50 to house) in Executive for 15 minutes. I ask her about rules. She told me that they are not allowed to have any contact on the main floor at all. Now I know why there are only 3 customers. I tell her that I am leaving and she starts selling the VIP. (I have gotten dances from her many times before and almost always on the floor). Tells me that touching is allowed there. Makes little sense to me (Covid doesn't exist on the 2nd floor?), but I like her and am horny, so I agree.
