Back In Business
My first visit after reopening! It's certainly different; metal detector at the door, they take your temp and tell you the rules, which are masks when you walk around or at the stage but you can go maskless at the bar or at a table. Lots less tables for social distancing but no one ever goes here anyway so not a problem. The club cleans the poles after every stage dance as well as the railings etc. and I will say depite the nature of the club's business I felt pretty safe.
There were only a few dancers working but one of my regulars was, and she was pleased I I a lot of pent up cash to spend on her! She was very happy to not clock watch, although they still pay attention to time upstairs to a degree. The dances upstairs are same as usual, which means with the right girl you have a good time. If you order drinks upstairs you need not wear a mask as it's now an extension of the bar, so buy your dancer a drink too. Since there are so few customers, you get a LOT of quality extra time as long as you tip generously. I spent double what I usually do but it was well worth it.
My only complaint is instead of opening at 11, they open at 4:30 so no more day/night shit comparison. It felt like a day shift as it was pretty empty and the few girls working weren't super aggressive. That being said, if you don't have a regular it's still easy to buy the company of anyone you see that you like. I didn't see any of the familiar waitresses which was too bad (with one notable exception whom I was glad NOT to see) the the lady behind the bar was friendly and efficient.
