Post-Covid Like Pre-Covid
The club experience is remarkably similar to how it was pre-Covid, though a few things have changed. Bar seating is removed, but the table/chair arrangement is similar to before; about 15 tables with 4 chairs each. This keeps customers spaced apart from each other, but it enables the dancers to sit very near the customers. Not that the customers seem concerned about distancing; none wore masks. Indeed, residents of NW Indiana don't seem interested in masks regardless of the setting.
Private dances have "borrowed" the Champagne Room area @3/$60 since the re-open, but by July 4, the club plans to resume use of the regular booths and the $10 Sundays/Tuesdays.
The bouncers, DJ, waitstaff, dancers -- pretty much the same fine people who worked there before. For now, the club has more of a say with dancers' schedules, so it should be possible to ask whether your favorite will be working on a given day. Despite the club's greater involvement with schedules, though, on this particular weeknight there were simply too few on hand. The stage remained unoccupied for a fair portion of the songs, and half the customers awaited a dancer visit. The dancers I spoke to feel that customer traffic will stabilize during July, so staffing should become a little more predictable.
