Another club open check...

So it was later on Friday evening and was heading home and decided to stop in to see that was happening at this club. Doorman greets me. Asked for ID and cover charge as normal. Then asks if I have a fever, have I been out of the country in the last two months and a couple other questions. Satisified with the answers, I was let in.

As with most places now, there were fewer chairs at the bar but most of them were taken. When I ordered a drink the bartender seemed glad to see me, or was it just that I was another paying customer? There were only about eight guys in the place and two of them looked like they were with their girlfriends. Seems that was true because shortly after that they all got up together and left.

Took my drink, cannot get use to the plastic glasses for good mixed drink, found a seat at the stage with the two other guys and proceeded to tip the dancers. There were about 8 – 10 dancers from what I could tell sitting at the bar and around the club. Some dancers, it appeared, that this was the start of their careers on stage. A couple of faces I did recognized and they obviously were better performers.
