Except for there was no show. This is one of the clubs I hadn't seen since the reopening after the COVID shutdown. So all of the bars (and that probably means strip clubs) in Texas were supposed to be shut down again by noon today. I heard from a couple of dancers this was happening, but haven't checked up on it to see if they all did shut down as ordered by the Governor. I dropped by here on a whim late on a Thursday afternoon. Not much going on. The parking lot looked full, but it always looks full since it's a small lot. This is a post-COVID update. All the details about the club layout and whatnot I thought should be covered are in my review from earlier this year.

ID check at the door from the bouncer, and a temperature check by the doorgirl with a $10 cover on dayshift. I was already there so I paid it rather than waste a trip. When I walked in I wasn't the only customer, but it was maybe three total. No barstools, but people could stand at the bar. There were little pieces of blue tape stuck on the bar, marking 6ft of distance where people could stand if there were multiple people up there. Two dancers were dressed, one on the floor. She seemed nice enough and had a nice body, but I wasn't planning to stay. There was some guy who'd parked himself in the lapdance area and was just sitting there, so I decided to skip the dances this time around. They're usually negotiable here, and clubs in town were doing lapdances again since the reopening so I don't have a reason to think they weren't available. Now that I think about it, I don't remember if the tables and chairs were still out on the main floor. There was a table by the DJ booth with a chair or two, but I wasn't paying attention out by the stage in the middle of the floor since there wasn't hardly anyone there and again no show going on.

Paid $7 for a draft beer at the bar. It tasted good, not flat. Don't drink beer that often so it was a nice change of pace. Some of the clubs weren't doing anything draft for a while post COVID-19 lockdowns, so I got a draft beer just because. Customers were being asked to wear masks, but not all the staff had them on. Actually it was just one guy walking around without one on. I haven't seen the owner, so maybe that was him. I don't like being the only person around who seems like they might be spending, so I walked for the door after spending a little time checking the place out while finishing the beer. This place gets a bad wrap because it's in the same location as several clubs that were not great and people might've had bad times in the parking lot, but each time I've been here the staff is working hard and doing what they can to make it a good experience.
