Covid Schmovid

Was there Fri., June 19, place has been reopened for a couple weeks; other than some plexiglass surrounding the small stage, no signs of the virus encroaching on the monger experience could be found. Absolutely no one was wearing a mask, and no mask was required to enter, either (Sparse crowd; was there 1.5 hrs, I was one of 6 customers the whole time, but 5 girls were working, along with owner & Willie Nelson-twin DJ playing truncated 80's songs).

$10 cover (full nude, no alcohol) $3 can of coke -- no Red Bull, wtf -- smoking allowed in club for some reason, couple dancers partaking, and OVERALL, no one pays very close attention to what you're up to. Very unobtrusive management, which is good (easy to sneak in a lil alcohol to mix with your coke). Owner Ralph -- a disheveled cross between an old Dead Head & Nascar reject -- pretty much allows the dancers and customers to do their own thing.

This night, 5 dancers... and what I really appreciated was their machine-gun rapidity in getting up on stage, getting full nude, and giving very good effort erotically dancing (despite the small crowd). Couple songs... dancer off stage... another dancer immediately popping back up on stage. NO DOWN TIME. Also, still easy to talk to dancers onstage during their sets, cuz the plexiglass doesn't go all the way down. Actually, the plexiglass is pretty worthless cuz I had close conversations with 3 of the 5 girls while they were onstage (plexiglass just there for code so they could reopen, obviously).
