First night of reopening at Brad's
I decided to attend Brad's Brass Flamingo on the first night of reopening after a three month shutdown. I arrived about ten at night and immediately upon arrival was told by the door guy I had to wait for someone to leave before I could go in since they could only have the club fifty percent full. After maybe 15 minutes I was allowed in. While paying the entrance fee I was then informed there were no lap dances and touching of the girls was not allowed anywhere in the club. Going up and tossing money on the stage was allowed. This no touching rule was enforced because a security guy was walking around and I saw him tell a stripper sitting on a customer's lap to get off it.
The strippers and waitresses were all wearing masks and the waitresses were carrying around bottles of disinfectant and spraying off the table after anyone left. There were about 25 guys and 20 girls in the club. The customers were younger than normal. I expected this since many older customers would be hesitant to return because of the added health risks. The girls looked slightly frustrated. Some of them were sitting with guys but couldn't make much money. I did a table dance with a girl which was an air dance. I gave her ten dollars and only did it because I've known her a long time. Regular lap dances are normally twenty dollars but the lap dance area wasn't open at all and the private rooms weren't available so there was not much money to be made by the girls. One stripper told me they could start doing lap dances again after July 4th and she thought not allowing them yet was stupid. It's the Indianapolis mayor making that decision. The customers didn't look happy either and I saw more customers than normal cutting short their visit. It was worth the trip for me. It was nice to go to a club again but think I will hold off on any further visits until lap dances are allowed again.
