Wish I could say it was better

This is a club I really wish I liked better than I did. Maybe in the future, I'll have an opportunity to stop in again and it will be better.

One reason I wish I could give a better account is that I really liked the bar tender, who I think (judging from conversations) is also the manager. She was very pleasant, talkative and attractive.

Cover was $5, which is about the norm, it seems. Beer prices depended on the brand. One I had was $4, the other $5.75.

The vibe of the place wasn't bad. There was some pleasant conversation at the bar, involving the bartender, a couple dancers and a couple patrons.

I'll be generous on dancer quality and call it "spotty." I'm not going to guess dancers' ages (impolite, right?), but for the dancer on stage when I arrived, it was all she could do to drag herself back to her bar stool when she was done staggering around the stage. The second dancer I saw, who was probably a "5" or so, seemed completely bored with the whole thing. The third dancer was also a bit of a "veteran," though still far younger than the first. But she was still a solid "7" -- maybe even an "8" if my overall opinion of the club had been better -- and acted like she really enjoyed what she was doing.
