Hi-Liter Highlights From the Grand Re-Opening

Had a chance to stop by HL. First time I've been back since the week they turned the VIP seating to face forward and added a bazillion cameras. Wanted to TOFTT to get some real intel out there.

Parking lot: front section 1/3 full. Not a great sign. Walked in, as always no cover. There is also NO scanning of licenses, no ID check, no temperature check or hand sanitizer. No masks worn, either by staff, dancers or customers. The doorman barely even looked in my direction as I entered the club. Found my own seat against the wall (yay for the return of $10 wall dances). 3 other Latina dancers were sitting near me, all talking loudly in Spanish. Waitress came by to take my drink order; Coke still $4 with a $1 tip to waitress,

Layout: Poster outside advertising upcoming acts has been removed. Inside hasn't changed. Same # of tables, same stages, and whoever the moron on the discussion boards is who said the VIPs had been ripped out is just a complete dumb ass. Of course they're still there. Hi-Liter has put in a new floor in the entryway and there appears to be new carpeting. Chairs are the same but have been cleaned (!!!). No one was on stage when I came in and it wasn't until almost 12:30 before the first dancer was called up. The stage itself now has a black fabric backdrop with small blinking red lights interspersed through it to resemble space, I guess. All the TVs were off.
