Keep Expectations in Check

After a couple of months away, I went back to Fantasies recently just before the state shut down all the bars.

I've grown to like Fantasies for what it is and accept what it is not. It's a place where you might (or might not) find someone you like (however you define that) to make you feel good for a few hours (particularly if it's not busy). It's not a place where anyone will blow you away (in any sense of the term). If you go and find someone you like and can get to know (in whatever sense you choose), it's probably a win. Don't expect more. You may well go and be bored out of your wits within the hour, that's also a realistic possibility.

Before I get to the dancers, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the bartender Adrianna. She is no less attractive and no less a conversationalist than the dancers. She's actually far more attractive and was much more attentive to me than some of the dancers (who, admittedly, I was not into anyway). Even considering that I had a room with a dancer, Adrianna was still the best part of my visit.

There were some familiar dancers (Mimi still has a nice body but no personality whatsoever) and some that were new to me, and the website wasn't entirely accurate, so if you are looking for someone specific, you might be taking your chances. I've already mentioned Karma in previous reviews, but despite being listed, she was not there. Brandi was someone I'd met before who seems perfectly nice (nice smile, nice hair, reasonable brains and conversationalist, more ink than I prefer but I'd prefer no ink at all, and that's a tall order in these places) but she was busy with someone else, even though she did at least give me a "nice to see you again." She's a little jiggly in the thighs but not unattractive. Has a little bit of a Latina look to her.

Once it became clear that Brandi was busy, I turned my attention to Mindy. Mindy is not petite, but she's height and weight proportional. She's also pretty damned direct and aggressive- one glance from me got a lot of eye contact in return while she was on stage. She's good at that part of the job. When she came by, she wasted no time in asking if I wanted to play, which was fun in its way but lacked that spicy buildup. She's bad at that part of the job. Mindy is not someone who is going to even pretend to do small talk or offer emotional intimacy. She is someone who will practically climb all over you in a private room (once she makes sure you have the cash to tip her) and offer you her phone number in case you want extras outside the club. Was she worth it? She was effective, but I'd rather have had the opportunity with Adrianna.
