Not so shiny gem.

Came here on a Saturday night around 11PM. The club is located downstairs in the old Flashdancers location. Everything is pretty much accented in blue, from the lighting, to the stage to the upholstery. Didn’t pay a cover as I was given a pass from other other sapphire location. I believe it would’ve been $20 normally.

Sat at the bar and noticed there was probably 15-20 dancers on shift. Ordered a beer which was $12, typical for Manhattan clubs.

The dancer quality was ok. This location has always been geared towards tourists and the dancers were all about the hustle and everyone just came up and asked if you wanted a dance. Very direct and to the point. A dancer told me a dance was $40 and when I asked her how come she’s double the price of everyone else she said she’s an independent contractor and could charge whatever she wanted. I politely declined.
