Reliable fun

Back in Atlanta I only had time to visit one of the clubs, so of course I went back to Follies. I arrived Monday afternoon around 1:30pm. The valet was in service, but I arrived via ride-share so I didn't check what he was charging. Entry was still just a tip after a pointless gesture at a pat down (I think she might have touched my back once after waving at my leg) and passing through a metal detector. Inside, the club was as dark as ever. It was busy, but not packed. There's a u-shaped bar straight back from the entrance (and down a stair that's hazardous when one is still day-blind), a stage on either side, and then seating outside those. To the left are some couches used for lap dances rather than general seating, though the portion that's adjacent to the stage sometimes has people sitting. A bottle of water was $5.

There were many dancers, with a nice variety of races and body types, ranging from very thin to a couple that were very heavy. Most were in between, from petite to a bit curvy, and most were natural (other than tattoos). Many were Spanish speakers. Many walked by and simply asked if I wanted a dance, or commonly "you ok?", sometimes accompanied by glancing contact across my pants. A few attempted conversation, but this is not a chat-filled club.

There was even less of a stage show than my last visit. There's not a regular rotation, and the stages were empty for long periods of time. When dancers did go on stage, they usually put some effort into it, with decent dancing and floor work.
