Keep Ur Eyes On Ur $$$ at Rick's

I've reviewed Rick's (formerly Blush) a number of times now, and sorry to report that I'm seeing a pretty explicit slide in the quality of the experience. This time I went on the early side on a Friday night (maybe 8pm) and the club wasn't dead, but it wasn't exactly hopping, either. It's a pretty high turnover club, so there are always lots of new girls, but usually also some long-timers (some of which I go out of my way to avoid!)

This night, I was approached by a girl who I had noticed on previous visits, but never spoken to. Her name was Sway, and she was blonde, well endowed with classic California/porno looks. She gave me all the usual warmup stuff (where are you from, what do you do, etc) before asking for a drink, which I was glad to buy. She tried to encourage me toward a dance with a few over-the-pants pats and the assurance of a fun we could have together... but, and here's what seems to be becoming the norm at Rick's, payment hang-ups started messing with my good time. I had handed the bartender a $100 bill for the two shots ($11?) and it had been a good 8-10 minutes and she hadn't returned with my change. Like I said, the club and the bar weren't terribly busy. I had to ask another bartender to go figure out what had happened, and during that exchange, my dancer drifted away.... not a big deal, she had to go make some money...

...but then I got to thinking about my previous recent visits to Rick's: once I had my credit card and ID behind the bar and was waiting to get it back, and my stoned/drunk/out of it bartender just stared at me from the back of the bar (again, I had to get an assist from another member of the staff) and I wasn't even closing out a tab. The visit before, I had a card declined in the dance area as fraud protection (had spent a decent amount of money that night) so I produced another card, payed for my dance... only to find out the next day that they had charged it onto both cards. All of this hints at a pattern that is kind of unsettling.
