Nice time at the Nags Head

I decided to visit this club because it was within walking distance from my hotel and it had pretty good reviews. I actually visited on Saturday night a couple of weeks ago. The club is on a busy street and it looks like a local tavern. I walked in and paid the entrance fee, which was 10 or 15 pounds, i think. After a quick pat down by the bouncer, i stepped in and went to the bar. The club is fairly small and cozy. There are a few tall tables you can sit around and the single stage is at the back of the club. I got a Jack and coke for about 7 pounds, i think. I can't recall the exact price, but i recall being pleased that it wasn't that much. However, I took a beating when i converted my US dollars to pounds so everything i got in England was more expensive than it would be in the US.

Anyway, while i was standing near the bar trying to take in the scene, a pretty dancer asked me for a pound and held out a glass jar. She said she was dancing next so i dropped her a pound. A dancer finally took the stage and i walked up there to see better. I stood nearby because the single table in front of the stage was full of a group of guys. This place had the feel of a local tavern rather than a strip club. I saw a few dancers walking around but not that many. There was one black girl who interested me but she was busy chatting up a table of guys and took one in the back for a dance.

I found a seat at and watched tv and the crowd for awhile. I really thought i was going to leave this club because i wasn't feeling it, but then a pretty girl approached me and started a conversation. She asked if i wanted a dance and i told her to explain how things worked. She said we could go for a pvt dance for 20 pounds or to the VIP for 150, i think. She said she was Romanian and rubbed me a bit as she stood in front of me. So, I opted for the 20 pound dance and she laughed, saying i wanted to check her out first. She was right.
