Hanging out on a slow Saturday

I stopped by with a friend about 10 pm on a Saturday evening. This used to be our hangout on a regular basis a few years back. There were a number of cars in the parking lot when we arrived, but I was surprised by how dead the place was for a Saturday night. We walked right into the club. There was no bouncer to greet us at the door and nobody to collect a cover charge. I was very surprised by this. Years before, this place used to be packed on the weekends. And there was definitely a cover charge on Friday and Saturday nights. Perhaps we caught it just right and arrived while the doorman was on a break or something. There were about 5 customers when we arrived and about 8 entertainers.

The place is pretty large. There are a number of stages and bars in the building. The main bar appears to be in the back. Behind the bar is a raised stage with two dance poles. This was the only stage/bar that was open while we were there. There is a larger, main stage in the front of the building. There is a long runway that is perpendicular to this main stage. Also on the main stage is a glass box. I was told the glass box is a shower that feature performers can use in their shows. To the right of the main stage is another long bar. To the left is an area for closed off VIP rooms. The regular lap dance area is tucked into a corner, right next to the main stage. It is made up of a few couches and it is wide open to the rest of the club. There is no privacy at all. In the entire hour plus that we were there, I saw one guy getting a dance. And it looked like a complete air dance.

We sat at the main bar and had a couple of beers. There is a large selection of beers and top shelf liquor. Beers were average price - $8. The girls danced on the stage behind the bar and then walked over for tips. The tipping procedure was awful and typical NJ go-go. Since the bar separates the stage, you are not close to the girls. They simply come off the stage, lean over the bar, and hold out their hands. No enticement for a tip, no chance to brush breasts while tipping. Nothing erotic. You simply hand over your money as if you are tipping the valet.
