Afternoon visit

Candi's is known for being one of the better afternoon clubs in Charlotte. The club opens around noon , and I arrived there around 3:00 pm expecting the activities to be in full swing .

The parking is around the back of the club , and you walk around the front with traffic passing on Statesville Avenue, so anyone passing by can see you entering. The club requires a membership card , but the door guy does not seem to check . Either he knows me , or doesn't care about the card ; however he always scans my ID and always does a pat down , with no cover charge .

The inside of the club is long and narrow , with the bar immediately in front of the door. There is yellow tape on the floor in front of the bar . This is a no contact zone for the dancers to approach customers. This gives customers a chance to relax at the bar , without the pressure of getting a dance .
