Meat
As I end up doing a lot of times when I get into Portland, I swung by the Acropolis for dinner. Yes, I get that it's not the greatest steak ever eaten by man. But it's probably the best $11 filet mignon. Anyway....I got there around 8pm; $5 cover at the door, and they were running all 4 stages (main one back by the bar, a central stage, a stage kind of nearer the door, and one in a weird little wood-paneled addition). Patrons mostly piled up by the main stage and central stage.
There seemed to be maybe 8-12 girls on duty, and word is that they aren't allowed to ask you for a dance for some reason (but the DJ reminds you to ask them instead - $30 per is posted on the wall; I didn't find anyone I was dying to have one with...at least on a stomach full of steak and potatoes). They were doing 4-song rotations, with 4 girls coming out to the various stages, doing a song in lingerie basically, one or two topless, and another nude most of the time (though they varied a little). After 4 songs, another troupe would come out and disperse to the stages, changing which one they were at from the previous time. As usual, sit at the rail and leave $1-2 per song, and get a little attention. Pole tricks are more common at the main stage, with the girls mostly spending time with tippers at all of the others.
