Amazing its still open
Silver reign in West LA has been around for as long as I can remember, and I have been going there for well over a decade. In the early years, at least once or twice a month. Over the past several years, much less frequently. The location is good especially if you live or work in West LA obviously. It is near a gas station, across the street from a Office Depot/Staples, and parking is either on the street or parking behind the building near a coffee bean. I personally loved the old layout, with more private rooms/booths, stage in the middle with seats surrounding the stage. Several years ago, the entire room changed, with the stage in the back against the wall, and dancing areas less private (with one area in the far back the only real "private" area.
Recently, management changed (sometime last year), and they introduced a new pricing strategy, and in my opinion, doing everything they can to permanently kill this place off, or at least what is left of the regulars. They have the VIP area now in the far back, I guess always was, but now its strictly for VIP, 15 min $300 dances, or 30 min $600. The other two areas for dances, one next to the DJ booth by the dressing room and restroom, and directly in the back near the entrance door, which are not private at all.
Similar to other places, the dancers have changed dramatically. One of my ATF there left, years ago, was about as HM as any place, and was active with the OTC as well. Another of my ATF is still there, been there over a decade, a day time dancer, and also about as HM as they can, and open for OTC. Otherwise, not much to choose from, and this visit, what was there outside of N was about as bad, poor, as I have ever seen. N is a hispanic dancer, late 30's, natural C's, no tats, about 5'9 and as mentioned, there almost every day shift, regulars line up for her, and OTC used to be available on a frequent basis.
