February Friday Night

This was my first visit to a club in Tennessee. Definitely different from the experiences I've had in Tampa and other places, but not necessarily bad. Parking was free on a relatively busy main road. The building itself is non-descript and surrounded by used car dealers and similar businesses. I didn't notice anything super sketchy. Cover was $12, and they had me sign a log sheet, but didn't check my ID to verify accuracy of the signature.

The club itself seemed clean enough. I didn't notice any cigarette smoke smell or anything like that. The restroom actually looked very clean, which was a pleasant surprise. Lighting in the main club area was pretty dim, as you'd expect, but the one T-shaped stage needed to be better lit. You pretty much had to be right up on the rail to see much of what was happening. I also thought the pole was too far back on the stage; a few of the dancers had some impressive skills, but you couldn't fully appreciate them because the pole was so far from the seats. There were probably about 10 ladies working, and about the same number of patrons. Patrons were good old boy types for the most part and seemed harmless. Cokes and bottled water were $2.50 (reasonable enough), and it looked like they had some chips and stuff like that available too. The music was just a little bit too loud to be able to have a decent conversation without saying "What?: every other minute. But somehow we managed.

The ladies ranged from totally not my type up to a couple of solid 8s. Mostly white, a couple might have been Latinas, but again, the lighting wasn't good enough to distinguish features that clearly unless you were right up close. Body types ranged from skinny and flat to muscular and athletic to kind of chunky/curvy. A little something for everyone, I guess. On stage, each dancer had two songs. They generally got topless for the first song, then full nude for the second, although I noticed a couple of girls just stay topless if nobody was at the rail to tip them.
