Nothing Special

I was visiting State College from Upstate New York and decided to pay the End Zone a visit.

The main room at the End Zone is very large, consisting of a horseshoe-shaped stage with five or six poles and seats on both sides. There's a long room off to the side for private dances and, in back, there's a smaller room where free beers are provided in plastic cups.

I was more than happy with the dancers I saw the night I was there. They were all attractive, sexy, and personable. Tipping at the stage was fine. The girls get close and spend about a minute flirty with the customers. But I did get the distinct impression that need to keep their hands away from the dancers. When the girls are done with their sets, they are escorted by one of the bouncers to the private dance room with zero post-dance mingling with the customers. I don't know if that's the result of local ordinances or club policy, but either way, it's rather off putting. At the clubs I usually visit, dancers mingle with the guys, often flirting and sometimes getting rather personal. Mingling is a way to get interested in a dancer. Not doing so is a big reason I didn't bother getting a private dance or two at the End Zone.
