Last Visit?

I had some time to kill on Tue afternoon before heading to airport for my return flight home. I really had to fight the urge to return to Cheetahs because I had had such a great time there on Monday. But it is much further from the airport and, more importantly, I knew I'd spend another $100 or more while feeling rushed, so I decided to check out an old haunt, Pacers, just for the heck of it...no expectations.

I arrived at about 2 pm. Parking lot was much smaller than years ago and it is free valet only. A few cars on the lot. The guy out front checked my ID and waved me through. I took a seat at the bar and ordered a $6 beer. No dancers on stage, DJ was playing music. A couple of dancers seated at the bar with other customers, there were maybe 8 customers total in the place. The club looked much different than I remembered it...fancy booths on the sides, a big stage one end and the old stage with chairs around it on the other end, bar in the middle. Smoking patio in the back.

Again, it's been many years since I was here. It was a weekly stop back in the 80's.
