A friendly welcome to Canada

I just moved to Toronto this week and decided to see what was available near me. The Brass Rail was the closest and seemed well reviewed so I decided to check it out.

Came in from the street and the bouncer greeted me and welcomed me. No patdowns, no cover charges, no treating me like a creep. Already a welcome change from the states.

I got a beer at the bar, if I remember correctly domestic bottles were $11 and imports/nicer stuff $13. So not cheap but not horrible considering it's near the downtown area of an expensive city. They don't have any draft beer though, which was a little disappointing.
