Great Time

Back to Follies! I don't get to ATL more than a few times a year, but when I do, Follies has a place carved out of my calendar. I'm not a fan of valet and try to avoid it whenever I can. But the area surrounding the club is not parking friendly. It's all ticket and tow zones. I know there's a huge mall parking lot across the street, but I've read all about the booting and hassles that can acquire. I'm sure the lot security at the mall is constantly on the lookout for club patrons sneaking a spot. So, I valeted. Nice guy took my keys and I went in. It was early enough that there was no line. The pat down wasn't fun or exciting. Oh well. Once my eyes adjusted (usually takes longer than you want it to) I found a high chair along the wall and ordered a drink. Get there early enough, you get the seat you want.

The ladies were plentiful already and quite a variety was walking around. Mostly Cuban and AA, but several Caucasian dancers were about. Ironically enough, the less attractive ones tend to be the ones who are least proactive. They often just slump around between the tables and look unhappy. Or they don't move from their seats. Strange. Luckily, that means the really attractive girls are out there plying their wares, digging up dances. I got a great series of 6 $10 dances from a very sexy AA girl. Thin, smiley and funny. And she seemed to enjoy her job which is always the goal. On the third dance, she reached into my waistband and cut out the middleman. She kept her eyes locked on mine and played in there for the rest of the dances. I had another dancer, a Cuban with amazing breasts, guiding my fingers inside while giving me my first of four dances. The waitress, Brooklyn, was great about answering questions and suggesting specific dancers she thought I'd like. She was honest and funny. I tipped her well. Had more highchair dances with about six other dancers, not all as successful as the first two. Mostly because they seemed distracted or didn't attempt to make even a tiny connection. Boring. Finally went in back with the first lady I met. $150 + 50 for it all. Had to wait for a room, which is awkward, but it was worth it. She was passionate and seemed happy to be there. I'll find her again next time.

I didn't see the "topless only" thing happening much on this trip. I know that's been a concern of a lot of reviewers lately, but I can't say it was prevalent.
