My first visit to The Mint

This review is the second of three review's as a result of my most recent one week vacation in South Florida. My first review was done recently following two visits to The Body, and I intend to provide a subsequent review of Booby Trap in Pompano Beach at a later date.

I have never visited this establishment before,, but as an older white male, I have no problems patronizing predominantly black establishments. Finding it was simple, as it as at the end of a dead end road next to a police station.

I visited mid week around 2 PM, and received a light Pat down from a gentleman standing outside. No cover. Paid four bucks for a Corona and tipped the bartender a buck and remained seated at the bar. From what I could determine, I only observed several ladies working, and all of them appeared to be occupied with their phones or a gaming machine of some sort at the bar. Although I didn't see it, I could smell the scent of weed, something that didn't bother me but I found ironic considering the proximity to the police station. Must be a sign of the times.
