Party at the Acrop

It has been a while since I’ve been here. I would highly amused when my coworkers decided they were throwing a going away party at the acropolis.

There of been some clubs in Portland which I’ve had a facelift and the outside look pretty modern and well lit. Acropolis is not one of these. My guess is they don’t invest in the Decour because they don’t have to. There’s no real competition for them, they do quite a bit of business, and everyone in the area knows this club.

The former adult video store that was next-door looks like something you would’ve seen in the movie Colors With all the graffiti and the look of being abandoned.. There’s not much else in the immediate proximity. The parking lot is well lit and I think no matter what time of day you were coming here you would feel secure.

Do not be surprised if you visit the acropolis and noticed there are girls hanging out and watching the stage shows. They seem to make up about 10 to 15% of the crowd when I was there.

Don’t expect too much here. The stakes are still under $10 for the most part. It’s interesting to note that this place is perhaps more known for their steak special than for the dancers. Actually most of the menu is under $10
