Gave it a shot
Decided to try something different, and stopped by Rick's on a recent Tuesday afternoon. Parking was easy, cover was $5. Smelled like they still allow smoking, which is a big detriment in my book, although I didn't see anyone lighting up.
Main stage is around on the right as you enter, with one bar on the left and another (VIP) on the right. Tables and chairs were packed pretty tight around the stage, which made it difficult to move; I grabbed a seat near the edge and got a Coke ($4.50) and took in the sights.
It was a quiet afternoon. Maybe 8 to 10 dancers and only one other table of PLs. Which meant, of course, that I got approached by dancers almost continuously. Most if not all were Latinas, with varying levels of English. I eventually settled on a curvy blonde (E*****) with nice natural Ds. Dances were $20 at the table with no/minimal touch, or VIP area (decently nice couches, facing inward) for 1-$30, 2-$60, 3-$80, or 5-$120. Cabanas were also available along the back of the VIP area for $75 plus $300(?) for the dancer for 30 minutes. She sold it as "extra fun", but the sparse bead curtains on the cabanas would give basically zero privacy.
