Excellent experience outside the tourist zone

First time in NOLA in almost 20 years. Remembered the tourist traps, and decided to try to do better. Arrived around 8:15 and the club was fairly empty, maybe 12 dancers and a similar number of customers, mostly around the near bar (there is one running along the side closer to the door, and another along the side closer to the rest rooms and dance areas).

A pretty latina came over quickly to tempt me towards some fun, but I spent some time watching. After about 45 minutes I'd seen a bunch of dancers (they were up over 15 by now), most of them having come past me on the bar for a dollar. I took two to the VIP room for 2 $30 dances each. Each one was excellent, with a firm handshake, two way touching (except for covered areas), and enthusiasm. Indeed, after the second pair I was done for the night, and happy with the experience.

Dancers are mixed. About 1/4 black, maybe 40% white, rest latina and other (few if any asian). Not all my style, but enough variety to find a few for anyone. Numerically, maybe a couple of 9+, but mostly good solid 7+. And in attitude, definitely a few giving off vibes of "how much can I take you for" and a few "I'm uninterested in being here", but mostly friendly and willing to give to get.
