Second time was a little better...

Second time was a little better knowing what to expect. This time was a Monday night, and the place was actually pretty mellow. Almost no patrons (at one point there might have been three including me until it picked up a bit). Around Happy Hour time, which didn't matter since the place is dry but maybe people were tanking up on their way to the club. The center stage is some sort of Octagon, I think, and it occured to me as I sat twirling my drink glass that it didn't seem practical for tipping. Plus, with only one girl up at a time the view from my seat (back near the LD area but not the mini booths) was just as good as spending money up close. The regular lap area faces the main club but it's far enough away to get a handle on things. Dancers not giving laps should clear out of there when in use to give paying customers some "space", though. With the crowd being so light, neither the dancers or the waitresses were particularly pushy...except for a tall blonde with her hair pulled back who kept promising the moon. Said she was from SF and used to dance at the MBOT, which could be true since she had the face if not the body (a little skinny) but it reeked of name dropping so I passed after a lackluster test drive. She wound up sitting at the other end of the club straight in front of me alternating between a pout and a glare. It's funny now but at the time it was slightly annoying. So a local walks in (young guy) and somehow decides out of all the empty seats he was going to plant himself one table over (maybe it was his regular spot). Anyhow, I ask him what was what with the talent on hand. Nadia, legit. The tall one? ROB. Carrie was her name, I think. So if you see Carrie and she's still talking smack, she's a ROB. What else...a petite redhead that claims to be her cousin is the real deal, apparently, and is sexy as hell everywhere except her tummy. Seriously, she's got moves on stage and a lights out face so the pooch is a mystery. Maybe next time I'm out there she'll have firmed up a bit and then we'll see (plus, there are guys in this world not to travel behind and one of them had her in back for a while--at least pretend to freshen up afterward, gals). I'd really already decided that one was enough, though, and that one turned out to be Veronica. Brunette, natural hardbody with great presence on stage and a decent personality. Test driven and road rated. Not the highest mileage but she'll get you where you need to go. The place was filling up after the tab got settled, so then I decided to roll. Before I wrap, Lana gets honorable mention for sitting awhile and chatting about whatnot with no issues at all about a non-dance result. This place'll be a regular stop on the wanon coast-to-coast tour.
