Attractive Girls, Great Floor Dance Value
This is the second of three reviews (SR, Sapphire, and Little Darlings) during a recent trip to Vegas. I went to Sapphire Tuesday evening just before the cover charge hit at 6 pm. There is no cover between 6 am and 6 pm. The manager asked me how I got there, and since I drove myself, there was no upcharge for the spiff (kickback) they would have had to pay if I had arrived by cab. Sapphire does do an ID scan, but when I expressed reservations about that, the manager just looked at my ID, and didn't do the scan.
Sapphire is a very large upscale club with very high ceilings. It claims to be the world's largest strip club, but Tootsies in Miami is larger regarding indoor space. Sapphire does have an outdoor pool club (not open during the winter), so if you count that area, maybe it would be the largest. There were about 30-40 girls working at 6:00, though there were only about 10 guys. Since it wasn't that busy, half of the club was screened off with curtains. They have one small elevated dance area that looks like a landing for some stairs that has a single pole, and girls would take their tops off when dancing for about two songs. This is a topless club, and bottoms stay on. I didn't see a bathroom troll during my time there, which was from about 6 to 9 pm.
The club is basically one gigantic room, and there are chairs and tables all over the place. Every single table had a reserved sign on it, but during the early evening, you can just sit wherever you like and ignore the reserved signage. If they need the table when it gets busier, they'll tell you to move. Sapphire has one of the best values around regarding floor dances. Girls will take you to a dark corner or area where there's no one really around and give you a decent dance. It used to be that floor dances had standard pricing of $20 per song, but now there is some variable pricing as the girls can charge what they want. Ask upfront what the girl charges for dances before you start. Most of the girls I interacted with charged $20 per song, but there were a few that charged $25 per song, and one girl I met charged $25 per song for regular floor dances, and $30 for dances in what she called the "cabana" area - basically an area underneath an elevated platform that's got some sheer curtains around it, but really not much more private than any other isolated location.
