Pretty Much Something for Everyone

Got to spend four days at the end of December in Tijuana, the Saturday after Christmas through Tuesday, New Year’s Eve. Maybe not the best time to visit, but as an East Coast resident, I’ll take my opportunities when I can and make the most of them. I rotated between Hong Kong Gentlemen’s Club, Chicago Club, Adelita Bar, and Las Chavelas, but only spent a little time in the last two, so I will post separate reviews of CC and HK. (I have never found the chicas in Adelita to my liking, and I only went into Las Chavelas because they had a live band.)

First of all, I should mention that I finally found the free Hong Kong limo at the Ped East crossing. It’s called the Zona Shuttle and serves several of the hotels and clubs near Hong Kong. I was by myself, but it would be great if there’s several in your party. HK finally put a little map on their website, which is how I was able to figure it out. They also run a limo from the newer Ped West crossing, but I always take Ped East because that where the trolley coming from San Diego drops you off. The limo is free, but the driver will want a tip. The taxi is $5. Not much difference there.

I wish I lived closer and could visit more often so as to take better advantage of the HK VIP card (it costs $50 but only lasts 3 months), but I still got 20% off my Cascadas hotel room Saturday and Sunday and 80% off Monday and Tuesday. A standard room is $60, so on Monday and Tuesday it’s only $11. (For a half-hour arriba here, I think a room is $18, so if you’re doing multiples...) Plus free entry to HK, a free drink and a half-price lap dance each day, and other discounts. (Uh-oh, sounds like a shill review – but I assure you it’s not!)
