First time at Follies

It’s Saturday afternoon and I’ve got nothing else better to do. I’ve tried two other clubs (Tattletale and Oasis Goodtime Emporium) the night before and they both suck and not in a good way. I’ve read many good things about Follies so I have high hopes of this place.

Pulled in about 1pm and the parking lot is fairly full. It’s Valet only (I’m not used to this as I’m out of town) and it was an arm and a leg ($20 to valet during the day, really??) I’m not comfortable giving the keys to the valet guy plus it’s faster when you need to leave so I requested to keep my keys.

Luckily the cover was only $5, I tried to show my ID but the lady could cared less. Walk thru the metal detector only to get patted down by a female which is nice. Once inside you’re looking at the main bar, there’s smaller stages to your left and a larger/main stage to your right. Restrooms are also to your right (there’s a bathroom attendant) They use real hand towels there which is nice and I’m sure they have thousands of those laying around. Back behind the main bar is where VIP entrance is an I see a lady guarding it or more like collecting fees. There’s tables and chairs spread across. I settled down by the bar area.
