I went to the Wild Zebra Gentlemen’s Club at 19:15 on a Saturday night. A paved parking lot is behind the building. A security guy was sitting in a car watching over the parking lot. The entrance to the club is on O’Connell Street, not the front door on Allens Avenue. There was a $5 cover charge upon entering. A Sincweiser was $6. Wild Zebra is a two floor club. The first and second floor each have their own stage and bar. You can rotate between the two using a stairway. The first floor has a large bar on the right side and a large island stage on the left in a pit. Lap dances take place in the back left corner on couches behind a short wall. There is not much privacy from the rest of the club. Directly in front of you when you enter, there is a stairway on the back wall. Going up two flights of steps gets you to the upstairs club. Upstairs is a long bar against the wall facing the stairs. Hook around to the left and there is a large stage. Half of the stage is behind glass to facilitate shower shows. Two pool tables are on the left end of the room. The upstairs had more of a sports bar feel and was not as cramped as the downstairs, so I spent more of my time up there. The upstairs bartender resembled Lisa Ann, so that was also a motivating factor.
When I arrived, the half dozen dancers working were Caucasian. As the night progressed and more dancers started streaming in, the dancers shifted to ninety percent African-American, Puerto Rican, and Dominican. Body-mass index also shot up as more entertainers signed in. Many had large asses, but insufficient breasts. Some of the dancers showed baby damage, and others looked like a membership to Planet Fitness would do them well. What Wild Zebra lacked in quality, it tried to compensate in quantity. There were around two dozen dancers by the time I gave up and left.
