I dropped by Mynx Cabaret around 14:00 on a Saturday afternoon. There was no one at the door to take a cover charge, so I went over to the bar and got a Sincweiser for $4.75. There is a bar straight ahead along the right wall as you enter. Past the bar is a lone pool table, washrooms, and the DJ booth. VIP booths are to the right on the front wall behind a curtain of metal beads. The champagne rooms are to the left on the front wall behind curtains. A lane along the left wall is where private dances take place. An island stage is about three to three and a half feet off the ground in the seating area. There is also a large rectangular area at the back of the room that was curtained off. Inside is another stage. Mynx Cabaret is a topless club with alcohol, and next door is a separate room called Mynx After Dark, which is a nude club that does not allow alcohol. Mynx After Dark opens at 21:00 and stays open until 04:00 on weekends. There is a food menu available and a dedicated cook on duty. I bought a mixed drink for a dancer, and it was $10.

There were only four dancers working. Dancers would dance on stage for about four songs and strip down to topless. I tipped the stage only to find out there was absolutely no contact between dancers and customers. The best action to be had at the stage is a dancer pulling out her g-string for you to slide dollars beneath. Private dances are $25 for a three minute song. I asked a dancer who solicited me for lap dances whether I could touch her during the dances. She said she would allow it if I paid $35 per song. Fifteen minute VIP sessions are $150. Half hour champagne rooms are $300. An hour champagne room is $500. Dancers seem to try to inflate the prices. One dancer quoted me $175, $350, and $620 for the aforementioned time durations.
