Christmas Eve Let Down

I don't think it is possible, but if I could find a club that had a consistency of experience, I would probably frequent it. The only consistency i've found in Vegas is some (not this club) are consistently terrible. Chicas is the definition of "luck of the draw". I've tried to vary my visits as much as possible to find a sweet spot. This most recent visit was after work on Christmas eve. I drove by expecting to be closed or a ghost town during day shift, but the parking lot was pretty busy. I walked in, it was actually darker inside than usual and it took my eyes a while to adjust. As you can surmise by other reviews, the place isn't large, and while I could find a couple open seats in a corner by the unused second stage/poll, The place was PACKED.

I glanced at the VIP area and didn't look like many were partaking. Around the edges, there were plenty of either really lackluster $10 dances going on, or the girls were just sitting on laps looking like they weren't having a good time. This is the first time i've ever gone in and gotten that vibe from the dancers. Given the day of the year, maybe that had something to do with it? Anyway, I literally couldn't get up to the bar to order the pitcher of beer I came in for. any space was taken up by customers or the dancers talking to them. I personally love the Latinas, and on pervious visits always found many of the ladies sexy. This time around, nothing really caught my eye.

Only two women approached me the entire time (20-30 minutes) I was either at the seat or trying to get space at the bar. One girl was very rude. She asked why i was there by myself, I said: "It's just the way today worked out."....that's literally it. She then said "well you don't have to be rude!" and walked away....ummmmm what just happened?? lol The other was cute but it was the cuban hustle that, if you've ever encountered it, know what i'm talking about. Hard selling promising the world, that always turns out to be either an upsell or a bit of a fib about the dance you'll receive. The real bummer, Is i am usually one of the few guys that actually sit and tip at the stage when they dance up there at this club. Yet, the place was packed and no one went on stage.
