Cut short in Brockton

It was New Years Eve and I had made plans with a former dancer but things changed on her end which cancelled my plan. I was in Brockton and hadn’t been to the Foxy Lady in several weeks. As I entered at just about 4:00 pm I thought to myself that I could check out the afternoon dancers and maybe stick around to see who was working in the evening.

There were only about 12 or 13 customers and one dancer on stage and one sitting at the bar with a customer. So I took a seat at a table near the stage and waited for the bartender/waitress to take a drink order. I looked around in admiration. With the Christmas decorations the club looked pretty spiffy. The walls are rich burnished wood and the stage has 2 levels. Dancers enter at the upper level when starting a 3 song set. They then move down the wide staircase, shedding clothes like a long haired cat on a velvet sofa. It is a totally nude club, but with little encouragement and few dollars the dancers were just going through the motions. I finally got my Captain & Coke ($8 + $2 tip) and moved to the stage just as a young very slim dancer came out. I like young and I like slim but on first glance she looked anorexic. My banks ATM has just started using different denomination bills and I had just gotten $300 in $50’s and 20 $5 bills. So I started stage tipping $5’s and tried to make the dancers feel appreciated. There were only 4 strippers working and the thin gal I had observed earlier turned out to have a little more shape than I had first realized. She liked the fact that I had put a picture of Lincoln before her and did a naked headstand in front of me. I told her it was a good thing for her to do because it’ll make your breasts grow. She started laughing and literally fell for me. We decided to enjoy several $20 lap dances and she wasn’t doing an air dance but contact was limited at best. I asked what was different in the Champagne rooms upstairs. She told me it’s much more risqué. That meant that she’d take her thong off without being asked. The Champagne rooms are about $200 for a 1/2 hour but I decided not to take things any further. Come to find out she has been dancing for more than a decade and we remembered each other when she told me that when she was in her late teens she had long blonde hair and she remembered me when she learned who my ATF is/was. I then learned that the club was closing at 6:00 to allow people to celebrate the start of a new decade. I asked 2 of the dancers what their plans were for the evening. They both indicated that they’d be in bed alone long before the ball drops.

I still love this club, but it wasn’t at its best tonight.
