Quick Stop

I stopped by the Oasis last Friday afternoon. They seem to updating the look of the club with new carpet, paint, and other slight modifications. The bar (large bar around two stages in the center), stages, and communal couch dance area (3 rows with 7? total couches-first two rows face each other, the back row doesn't)are still the same. Under previous management, domestic bottles were discounted to $4 in the afternoon. Now, they are $6 until Happy Hour at 4pm when they are 1/2 price.

There were approximately 5-10 dancers working. I don't think I saw them all in my time there as I saw an ATF working out of the blue as I walked in. She hasn't been back in the States for about a year. We sat down and had a beer, but went back for a couch dance within 15 minutes of my arrival. I did notice some afternoon regulars though i.e. Rachel, Sassy, Persia, Rosie, and Mercedes.

I had two dances ($20 per in regular dance room) with plenty of mutual roaming and left happy. With tip, I spent less than $100 and was out of there in about 30 minutes.
