Good LD party again!

I've been a fan of the "underground" lapdance scene in NYC for years. It's so much better than standard clubs - the women are more real, there's less hustle, and more mileage on average. Also, just a lot nicer vibe. The downside is, these are often shutdown for various reasons, some legit and mostly not. Every few years, the scene shifts and a new normal emerges. Rosewood is - I hope - going to be the new normal.

I signed up for their website, but didn't buy a membership. Not my thing. Read through the website about how it's run by women, the girls can do what they're comfortable with (they even tell applicants that it's topless optional). All this made me think it might be a lousy tease place. Some reviews here made me more confidant that it would be fine.

Went this past Thursday - a day that isn't really a great day for heading out, but schedule allowed. When I got there, they scanned ID and took a photo - not something I was expecting or wanted. I went in to pay the entrance fee and they offered me $20 to enter, or I could buy access to the private dance area for an additional $60. I'd heard about this on the website, and decided to go with the regular entry. Did not regret this decision.
