Used to be my favorite spot...

Used to be my favorite spot in DC (as far as one can have a favorite spot, I suppose)--laid back atmosphere, range of 5's to 8's on stage.

But the quality of the dancers has taken a hit lately, as has the staff. I don't know if they brought in the staff from the closed 1820, but service is indifferent at best, even on a slow Wednesday night.

At its best, this was a venue primarily for locals. It lacked the good (hot dancers) and bad (attitudes of said hot dancers) of a place like Camelot. But I had, until recently, thought that it had made up for it in a friendly, no-pressure environment where might not have known your name, but at least recognized you. Now I'm reconsidering.
